Make yourself a cup of tea, or get a glass of water and let me introduce myself, I am a healer, therapist, teacher and wayfinder; I am a creator and holder of spaces – both in the body, for individuals and for groups and organisations.

My healing journey started in my early twenties (I am now in my 50’s) when I was exploring lands on the other side of the world and I become aware of energy outside of our bodies, of Elemental Beings who live within the landscape all around us, and discovering that my body was a landscape of Earth.
This has directed me ever since, questing to deepen my relationship as a human being rooted in the landscape of where I call home.
Since that time I have worked every day with altars, whether they be simple and momentary or deeper for more potent purposes. I find this is a great way to hold me, my dreams and intents and provides one of the foundations for my life.

I live in Mid-Wales, a land that adopted me 23 years ago, when we lived amongst the Mountains of the North, travelled south to the Dyfi estuary, and are now in the the Valleys of Mid-Wales on a little smallholding where I deepen my relationship with the elemental beings of this little patch of land, and its surrounds, learning how to create harmony and growth, how the ‘garden’ grows me and understanding more about my relationship to soil, the micorrhizal network and my gut, as well as the plants and beings that live around here with us.

I love learning, and my interests and trainings have been varied and centred deeply around herbalism and stones; yoga and my body; women’s health – especially in relationship to fertility cycles and latterly the wisdom the peri-menopausal and menopausal cycles bring. There are too many to mention other than I love the gateways my body opens within myself to explore deeper aspects of my being.

Along the way I have woven in beloved herbal forays and foraging, a rich 7 year apprenticeship with a Medicine Woman who loves earth deeply and resides in the US. She taught me how to use my light body to reach out and work with other people irregardless of where they are in the world. She held me as I quested my relationship the other realms and with the ancestors who prayed for us, through a series of ceremonies. She deepened my understanding of minerals, rocks and crystals and since then I have worked consistently with Crystal Skulls and their relationship with the web of life, of which we, as humans, are part.

For the past 24 years I have worked within the circle of a Sacred Fire tradition, alongside my husband, I am consistently in awe of the simplicity of how sitting in front of a ritual fire brings a deep connection to those ancient parts of ourselves.

Eliot Cowan, deepened my relationship with the plant world through his Plant Spirit Medicine training, and this ignited a deep respect and love for the Ancient Chinese medicine that is the Five Elements and has been my constant daily companion for the past 15 years as I interact and learn with them every day. The Five Elements has been another core aspect of my learning, and recently I have been inspired by the Wisdom of Lorie Eve Dechar who continually deepens my knowledge of the deep elegance and wisdom of this ancient way of working.

And all of these bought me to the School of Creative Kinesiology, it has shaped much of me as a healer, as I journeyed along the route from foundation to professional therapist with some deep training in somatic body work, listening and witnessing. I am now a registered teacher of the School and it has formed the strong base of my therapy and healing work. My website is here, although I am taking a break from teaching Kinesiology as I work on my own courses.

I love how all these bits of me make up my whole… and that whole is continually seeking the other bits of me that are still hidden and are waiting to be unearthed, reunited or refined within myself. And that is a key piece I hold for others at this point, it is how we weave in all of ourselves to create a beautiful book of our bodies, not becoming overly focused on one word, sentence, paragraph, page or chapter.
I love writing poetry and prose, reading, singing badly, sewing and creating, honouring the cycles and seasons of the land and myself and walking barefoot with my dog whilst foraging for whatever is in season.

Much of my focus is how we, as humans, can devolve ourselves to become more rooted into earth, to understand ourselves as part of the landscape around us, and as such to deepen our relationship to the places we call home. I listen to the wisdom of First Nations and Indigenous Elders, those who I feel help us to deepen our relationship to out inner compasses which always try to guide us back to the Garden of our Hearts.

In this way I do my best to empower and help guide other humans in a way that can bring them into a deeper alignment with their hearts and soul, bring them back from the edge of overwhelm, and help to clear held trauma within the body. All of this creates space and safety in themselves, so they can listen to their own inner compass, get to know and feel the garden of their heart, their felt sense and inner knowing.
